greenspun.com : LUSENET : Animes : One Thread

I was looking through the manga question thing-a-magiger trying to find some good places to find manga, and everyone keeps on saying to go to IRC. The thing is, i don't know the site or wherever it is!

I use an irc script called UPP instead if mIRC. mIRC can be very awkward to navigate with. UPP is good in that it has an fserve browser so that you don't need to use the dos commands in most instances.

Connect to the aniverse server (irc.aniverse.org port 6667 i think). Join the #AniMecha channel (type /join #AniMecha). It's a small close knit group of people, but the ops and hops are all super helpful. Esp if you are serving. They will also recommend you use UPP or perhaps SysReset. Stay and idle there a while :)

A good manga chan is on the mircx server they are #mangaproject.
