HiIf u find this question silly, feel free to laugh.
Can renaming of files within VCD/SVCD folders be one of the reasons why a DVD player won't read it or can it be because I removed the "MUSIC01" from the MPEGAV folder.
and one more
Is it because I use NEODVD (which creates the "MUSIC01" I mentioned above) to make VCD?

Yes, if you rename or move files it will cause the DVD player to not be able to read it. This was not a good idea. I know nothing about NEODVD and can't help you with that question.
