The fact that you can only view five cars at a time and that they are determined for you seems very inhibiting. I would like to be able to see at least 10 cars at a time and even be able to select the ones I want to see. Is there a way to do this?

You can see *all* the cars that are available for the time you want by choosing a car that is not available for the time you want and entering the times you'd like for that car anyway. When you click 'reserve/show alternatives' you'll see a page with all the cars in the fleet that are available then.

If you want to see what's available by 'car type' then choose your favorite vehicle in the 'car type' pull down menu. You can weed out the car types you don't love.

The five cars that are displayed when you go to the reservation screen are the same ones that were there when you last visited it. You can do all sorts of things to cange the assortment, including typing in a new address, cheapest cars, cars of a particular model, etc. That said, I still agree with you, 5 at a time seems too restrictive. I now have 8 Zipcars near my house in Brookline, and 7 near my office at MIT. There should be an option, like on a Google search, to display however many cars at a time is selected (up to 50 or 100). As we all know, when you suddenly need a car at the last minute on a busy weekend, it currently is much easier to phone Zipcar than to click your fingers off at the website.
