I'm just wandering if anyone knows what the conditions are like on the Mt Blanc du Tacul at the moment? I'm heading out there in 2weeks to hopefully climb Mt Blanc but wanted to use the Tacul as a place to acclimatise and get some graded climbs in either Mixed or Ice upto around British grade 4 (not sure of the Alpine equivilent...sorry).

I've heared that the snow/ice conditions are very thin at the moment due to the prolonged hot spell but it has snowed recently above 2500m? Is this correct?

Any condition report will help.
