Does anyone in this forum know how Kenneth L. Woodward, author of The Book of Miracles. ,is received by the Catholic viewpoint?

His book, mentioned above, describes miracles and their meanings from different religions including Catholicism. He compares and constrasts miracles and makes the point that miracles originate from God and can eventually be made at will by God's prophets. He points out that because Jesus was able to make miracles at will, Jesus is also God. Woodward moves on and describes the Saints and relics and the roles they had in the Church.

I kind of wish that he had stayed with the Church and not include the other religions, because it made Christianity an equal in faith with the others. I'm not sure if Woodward is Catholic, Protestant, or just a book writer. He also wrote Making Saints.

Hi David.

Jesus is not only God. Jesus is our Saviour. Jesus is the way. Jesus is our bread sent from Heaven by God. Jesus died for our sins and resurrected for all who believe in Him. To deny Jesus Christ is to die.
