Not everyone memorises Thule model numbers. Which rack is it? Fork mount or down tube clamp?

ohyaa..i never thinking about that..sorry.i'm talking about down tube type..do you have any advice about this rack... which one is suitable.. fork mount or down tube..tq

Yes, I have one..it's an ok rack..not too fancy..but hey, it works like any other bikerack...

Only bane is that you gotta have a bike frame with a round down tube.. I had some problem fitting in my Scott USA Pro Racing bike on it...

Get it if you are on budget..I got mine for RM150 second hand

The good thing about this rack is that you don't have to take the front wheel off. If the front wheel is muddy from the ride, you don't want to mess up the inside of your car.

The bad thing is that, like Jonathan says, it not might fit every type of bike, particularly funky downhill/full sus designs. Secondly, you have to be careful not to tighten the clamp too tightly if you your bike frame is made out of thin-wall tubing (eg Cannondales). You might crimp the tubing! Thirdly, the finish of your frame will be slightly marred at the clamping area over time. Finally, this type of rack tends not to be as secure as the fork mount type; the bike tends to sway a bit in corners, I think because of the flex in the clamping arms.

The alternative, the fork mount type, may not fit bikes with certain types of disc brakes (because the pistons interfere with the clamp). Check first that your disc brake type can be mounted on the rack. Secondly, it won't fit bikes with DH-style/Dirt Jumper fork drop- outs/hubs, like Marzocchi's QR20 design.
