Naruto is next in line in my download list. it had better be as good as HUNTER X HUNTER... IT HAD BETTER BE!!! Tell me just how good it is!!!

It isn't. But its good. It suffers from the same flaws as DragonBall Z. I.e it drags on to much when it isn't needed.

WOW im the complete opposite, naruto is one of the best animes in the last 2 years. I think its WAY better than HxH. There are a few times where there are some dumb eps, damn recaps. But damn, find me a series that's primed for 100 eps and you'll find that all those series drag parts on. BUT never associate this series with the worst of all DBZ. This series is 100 times better than that. Once you see the first battle with Zabuza and the fight on the bridge you will love this series. But this is my sole opinion.

i agree with Demogouge, it drags on unnecesarily, but the series as a whole is good and worth watching.

Meh...the only part I think really "dragged on" was the fight against Haku. But, the difference between the lagging in Naruto and the lagging in dragonball is that there is actually a reason for the lagging in Naruto.

In the manga, the lag actually makes sense and explains characters a lot better. The anime tries to replicate this, and does so to an extent, but I felt that it should have either been dealt with before the fight or during an intermission in the fight.

But other than that, the show rarely lags...it'll seems a little light and sappy at first, but after ep. 12 it begins to get pretty serious.

I highly reccomend going after the manga first, easier to dl and quicker and no lag :P Also, niether the manga nor the anime has been finished... i am guessing at least another years worth of Naruto (manga) before it comes to a satisfactory conclusion.

Pls do not associate Naruto with DBZ.. Naruto is one the best anime I have seen, good story, good art, good backround.

I think Naruto is great not the greatest there are probably better animes. BUT Naruto is one of the best. It's definetly worth being addicted to. Also worth watching!! =P

I think both are excellent anime. HxH is slower but more interesting because it's not a succession of fights like a naruto or a db.Naruto got one of the best soundtrack i've ever heard on an anime. This is my opinion...Do what you want with...
