What exactly happened in the poem 'Annebelle Lee'? And what exactly is the summary of 'The Raven'? Also what is the symbol in these short stories?

Annabel Lee. First their is the story of how his young love died prematurely, then the story of the narrator himself who for many years has stayed by her tomb by the sea. The second is the most important really with the strength of feeling(sorrow, love, revolt) showing an obsessive regressive state of mourning moe than any detail or presence of the girl in the title.The Raven too is quite simple if you remember what is exactly happening to the narrator in his own mind and behavior.

To add further on the subject of Annebelle Lee, The kingdom by the sea is Charleston SC. Poe was in the military in Charleston. Annabelle Lee is buried there in the court yard of a colonial church near the old city jail.
