How long after you were single...

... Did it take you to begin the trip to a possible relationship again?

For me, I started bar hopping and casual dating about 2 months after my divorce finaled, but I didn't find true direction until another year had passed. I now find myself concentrating in pursuing the one special woman that I hope that I have found. Its progressing slow, steady and showing promise everyday and most of all, it leaves me with a feeling of a special influence on the day just ended as I drift off to sleep.

How about the rest of you. Are you starting the trip back yet?

Working on month 4 of being single. Not actively pursuing any relationship - but not closed off to one either! Not into the bar scene and the grocery store isn't exactly crawling with single men so I sit and wait...for the self-sufficient farmer I seek!

Hey Jay! I never would marry anyone, but went with the serial monogamy theme for a long time. After 5 years of self imposed celibacy and singleness...I met him at the hardware store, he turned around and smiled at me. lol. For the first time, I let God pick. I hope that doesn't sound preachy to you, it is just the truth. Best to all of you!
