hello, i am 16 year old and live in sweden, and i always been intrested in sniping, since I was 12 or something like that. Now next year or soon I will be called into military service, and I was wondering what is the best education/training to take if I want to become a sniper.

Well peter, until recently only ranger units had snipers but now there are snipers in quite a few units navy base security and the military police are two examples, however if you have good physique and are ready to get even more welltrained i would recommend you to try to join a rangerunit and apply for a "specalistservice" and if you dont become a sniper dont cry,one can always join the homeguard and ask your companycommander to send you to snipertraining.Anyway i would talk with Mönstringsförättaren (dont know what they call that in english) and ask wich unit that currently need most snipers (One hot tip would be the rangers) well thats about it i´ll stop babbling now. /Johan
