Hi all! I too have been very busy lately. After finally finishing my thesis in April and my teaching block in May, you would think I'd have some time to rest...

Not so! I accepted a summer job as a tour guide for grade 7 and 8 students' end of year trips, and have been back and forth from Ottawa and Quebec City every few days for the past 4 weeks. Of course this job will finish at the end of June, but it has been an exciting experience nonetheless, and I am very glad to have taken part in it.

For the rest of the summer, my plans are to first find a teaching job for September (if anyone has any contacts for me, please pass them on!!!), then find an apartment and move, and finally to relax for a change! I can't remember the last time I had a summer where I didn't have to work every day to raise money for tuition, and I'm looking forward to the break.

So here's hoping everyone has a lovely and restful summer, and trust me, when I do get a job, everyone will hear about it! :)
