Maximum Daily Rates

greenspun.com : LUSENET : zipcar : One Thread

Maybe I'm missing something, but the maximum daily rates for each car don't seem to be available on the site anywhere. If you go to "rates" and enter the zip code, you get the vague hourly rate range but it doesn't tell you what the max is. I really want to know if a car is going to cost me $140 for the day vs. $90 for the day. The local rental place will give me a quote with the daily rate and extra hours... why is it so hard to find this info on the web? And speaking of rates, it seems like it's been ages since there were any "special" rates offered in NYC.

You're right, we couldn't fit it with the distance, but we'll fix that somehow. If you look at the main find-cars page for your city http://www.zipcar.com/nyc/find-cars it shows the daily range. Also when you look at the individual neighborhoods, for example, http://www.zipcar.com/nyc/find-cars?location_group_id=1736568

You can always use the cost estimator on the reservation page to estimate what the final charges will be for any reservation.

NY specials ended the end of May, we'll add a few over the next few weeks.
