greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

hi, until recently, my kodak 265 was fun. i had to change my cf card and since then, my camera refuses to recognise the card. it keeps saying ''no card''. i have taken it to shops and tried other cf cards aswell. i does'nt seem to recognise any cf card. i have some good memories with this camera, don't really feel like throwing it. can anyone suggest any help please. thank you, kumar. please mail me <>

I have run into the same problem. My older 48MB CF card works just fine, but my new 256 MB CF cards always display "No Card" and I have tried several brands of CF cards. Kodak suggested I format the card in a card reader using "Full" format and then do a scan disk. I have tried this on all my new 256 cards but still get the "No Card" problem. Since the camera does not recognize the card, I cannot attempt to format the card in the camera.

Have you had any luck troubleshooting your problem? Let me know if you found the answer.
