In august this year, we (my wife and I) like to climb Mount Kenya. We would like to do two routes on this mountain: 1/ Diamond Couloir (if enough ice) 2/ a rock route on the noth face. Can somebody inform us about the condition of the CD anf/or give us an idee for a good climbing route. Is it nessary to work with a guide (I am a mountain guide myself)and porter(s)? If yes, can you just inform us about not too expensive and honest guides. Many thanks in advance. Hope to enjoy your country asap.
