I am transfering from a Sony Digital video camera into Pinnacle Studio 8. After the video is transfered into the computer I proceed to burn it to a CD. It seems that the burn process is taking longer than the actual camera transfer. is there something that I am doing wrong. How can speed up the process. I have a new computer, big hard drive fast CD writer burner. Any ideas???

i also have this problem but mine takes ages whatever im burning,i use nero ultra 6.0 and am burning cds at 40x but there taking 16-18 minutes and renders my computer useless in that time,any help?

p.s i made sure the writer is on its own ide cable but still the problem persists
