does anyone know how many episode does fruit basket really have...from what i know...it have 26 episode but it is not finish..so does anyone know whether it is still continuing or not....

It has 26 episodes plus a special about the making of the show. I think the director said he wouldn't make a second season, then amended that to not making one for sure at least until the manga is complete. There is a pretty high demand for another season, but there's no way to know; also the last scene in the anime wasn't in the manga, and that could make things a little rough for a second season (though not really what the heck am I talking about???). So who knows...? In my opinion (and this is nothing more than idle speculation) there will be one eventually. I hear Ai Yori Aoshi is having another season this fall, and if that show gets a second season then Fruits Basket which is so much better must too.

Well the anime so far is only one season 26 episodes but in the manga it is still going. I would like the anime to continue because there are still more characters not mentioned. if you would like more info. There is a furuba forum you can go and find out.
