Powerpoint presentation slide show to VCD/DVD disc

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I am trying to burn a Powerpoint presentation slide show onto a disc but I am wanting to make a disc that is compatible to VCD/DVD player so I can view it on TV at home or anywhere else with a TV and VCD/DVD player...is there a way I can do this?

I've been trying to do the same.. I've actually had to resort to using a screen capture utility called Action! (www.logipole.com) to capture the screen to avi, then run through software such as Cyberlink Powerdirector Pro.

This gives the desired result - however I'm yet to find a way to get decent QUALITY output. It's very chunky - and i'm looking for a way to get it looking good.

Try this. Its free and the quality seems good tho' I'm still playing with it. Nero will put it on a VCD tho' I'm using studio 8.

Use a scan converter and speaker out from one computer and send to another computer that is equipped with RCA jacks in for audio and video and record using "Gigapocket" or similar software supplied by Sony, you can then send it to "Click to DVD" and the process is complete.
