Joe, when are you going to have your next riding clinic? Also are you planning to have one soon? Why not have one soon?Missed the last one last time....just wondering though!!

I've just returned from a prolonged stay in hospital, and "clinic" was not something that I had in mind :-)
Don't mind holding a RIDING clinic soon, though, if there is enough interest out there. What kind of instruction are you looking for? I think the one that people will find most useful is how to overcome steep descents.

Sorry to hear that joe! What happened? Yeah you guessed right....I would appreciate some advice on really steep descents...If you could spare some tips now....that wouls be suffiecient!Although it is better when someone demonstrates it to you as we may get the wrong impression from one's written advice!

Yes a clinic would be helpful esp to newbies who otherwise would have to learn thru trial n error altho the latter is an inescapable fact. Also perhaps you can throw in a couple of tips on riding on diff terrains and how to react when encountering diff types of obstacles eg. potholes, logs, big stones etc. thanks..

And of course tips on what to pack for a really really long bike ride/death march, what to tell your significant other before you go on said death march, what to look for in a parang that you might have to swing for 10 or 15 hours, where to hide it so your spouse doesn't use it on the friends who suggested the bike ride in question would be a really good thing to do, what it feels like to have a particularly nasty fever, which hospital has the best looking nurses, what are the best antibiotics to treat leptospirosis, what kind of cake to buy your boss after weeks of MC generated by one bicycle ride ..... :-)
