why shias do not give zakat in banks?

sir, i m shia but i dont know why shia dont give zakat in banks.in my childhood i read ten asul-e-din which were namaz roza haj zakat khums jihad and etc.lease tell me vthe answer of my question.. ALLAH HAFIZ

in shia religion zakah is to be given to some people who set themselves up as "Tax collectors of the Imam", since the imam (1168 years old) is supposedly hiding in a cave the zakah is to be collected by some other people who have set themselves up as "general representatives" of the imam i.e Ayatullahs / Mujtahids
