Mine or Poe's? What kind of allusions? Poe is filled with classical and literary allusions, many deliberately vague so as not to interfere with the integrity of original subject. "To Helen" has many classical allusions(many disputed still). Many more of his poems have allusions to things far distant or contemporary.
