SMP Test Loop world record takes a tumble!

The world record at the Shawnee Mission Park Test Loop has tumbled once again! For the first time since March of 1999, the day that Snorkel pulled off his seemingly impossible 13:56, the world record has a new owner... and this is the first time that world record has been held by a non OKer!

The former record holder himself phoned in to report that during his recent visit to Kansas City on Monday, Nadim, after having taken only one surveillance lap of the Loop, was witnessed to have cranked out the new record time of 13:44, shattering the old record by an incredible 12 seconds!

Conditions for Nadim's record-setting run were said to be "ideal and very close to perfect". Only one damp spot could be found on the entire trail while the weather was cool and dry. Almost certainly, having Snorkel around to advise him and guide him over the rough spots on the trail helped Nadim as well.

Congratulations Nadim! Now you've become a role model, a hero to young people, and yes, even a target... Needless to say, not everyone is happy to see the record in the hands of QOC!
