Topics for A.M.E. Herald Chat rooms. We need your suggestions

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread

Next week we will have topics to be discussed in our A.M.E. Herald chat rooms (the ame herald is a new ame news magazine www.ameherald.com)

I would like your suggestion for topics. Please be creative. The only topic that we will not do. Is how handsome my biological Brother Bill Dickens is, because his beautiful wife Jenny will not allow that;-)

So do you have any other topics. I can't wait to hear from you!! P.S. Thank you all so much for your tremendous support of the A.M.E. Herald. We have had over 3,000 visitors in two weeks. Keep spreading the word. I love you all.

What a wonderful question!!! I was just thinking that it would be nice if we could use the chat room for an " online Bible study" with the Holy Spirit being the teacher. I must admit that I need to get my new Dell computer connected at home before I join in every Monday night at 9:00 EST. At the conclusion of each chat session, someone could submit a topic for the following week. I thank God for this technology!!!

Parson Rogers: But, Dr. George Champion's 92 year old mother-in-law, who happens to be a faithful member in my Church School, thinks I am a good-looking fella. Why impose this restriction on this sweet lady simply because she has good taste :-) QED

Jazzman, thanks for the idea! I will be sharing this idea and other ideas with the Herald staff and we will see what we can come up with. And since Bro. Bill has asked us to remove restrictions. The good looks of Bill Dickens;-) can be a topic;-)

Jazzman, also let me think so more about the Bible study because that might also fit in our forums. But I promise we will give this some thought. Several of our Herald staff our Sunday school superintendants including Bill Dickens and Robert Matthews so I am sure they will have some input. Again Jazzman thanks for responding. And brother Bill thanks for being you!!!

Pastor Rogers, what a wonderful idea to solicit ideas for the chat room. Every progressive movement in history has point people who have vision and leadership quality. Thank you for letting God use your gifts! There are many worthy topics such as economic reform and accountability, the upcoming mandatory retirement age of clergy, help for smaller congregations to supplement and support a pastor and her/his family, faith and politics, faith and education, just to name a few. I look forward to open dialogue and the exchange of ideas and encouragement from the Body of Christ. IHN. Peace.
