Murder of 1967 Brenda Haley - Domestic Violence Case

greenspun.com : LUSENET : San Francisco History : One Thread

Hello,

My sister, Brenda Haley, was murdered in our home in 1967 by her boyfriend Fred _____. We lived on Page Street, which I believe is not the collesium or something like that. I was very young, but remember the event. Does anyone have any information on this, or remember it? Also, how can I find out where she was buried? I have tried the San Fran Choronicle arcives but to no avail, I have learned nothing. Any help is appreciated. Thank you so much!!

Is this the person you are talking about? You can order her death certificate from the State for $13. It will have the place of burial. You can order it at http://www.dhs.cahwnet.gov/hisp/chs/OVR/Ordercert.htm

Tony, THANK YOU for this information. You are the best, simply for reading, and taking note of this case even though it is old. It just proves that she is not forgotten thanks to people that help like you.

I am Brenda's daughter. I wish for this thread to be taken off of this web site. Emails contacting the Mr. Greenspun have failed to actually help and following the instructions for requesting a deletion have also failed. This is causing me and my family (except for Lisa) much anguish. This is understandable because Lisa was a little more than a year old on this dreadful night; and she never knew my Mother. I on the other hand remember her (Brenda) living, loving, and dying. I've been away while serving in the Army and Lisa could not ask me; however, Lisa could surly have contacted her mother for the 'story' she seeks instead of posting this request on the internet. I apologize that you've witnessed my Aunt's disregard for our family's feelings.

If anyone can help me get this posting off the internet (would you like for your SSN to be posted?) please contact me soon.

Thank you for your consideration.

Is that your SSN?

Lorraine, You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about! I think you need to get a clue! I know all of you and understand what this is all about and you are being very rude to Lisa. She was her sister! There is nothing wrong with looking into this devistating event! It is not Lisa's fault that someone posted the SSN. I am sorry, but you have no reason to be so hateful when you haven't spoken to Lisa in ages.

It is absolutely absurd that you should attack Lisa or Lorraine! Neither should be posting this sort of thing on the internet. Lisa if your mother was there and is alive why don't you simply ask her? Lorraine it appears that your Aunt is seeking attention and yyou're just adding to it by posting on this site. Why is the moderator of this site leaving this information which obviously bothers Lorraine on the site? This is too much like Jerry Springer!

Hi family members you probably don’t even know me but I’m Lorraine’s son Amond. To me all of this is wasted energy I feel both my mother and I guess you would be my Aunt Lisa are right in some ways, about this matter. Yes I never had the chance to meet my grandmother as you did but if she were alive today I don’t think she would want her SSN on the internet. I’m sure were all aware of theft identity I mean how would you feel if someone started looking on E-bay using your SSN? But I do commend my Aunt for wanting to no more about her sister I’ve never held the opportunity to meet the majority of my family so I really can’t side with anybody but for my Mother’s sake I think we should compromise with the SSN being on the Internet Cause in the end were family Love it or hate it.
