benefits of decaff. tea

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Tea Forum : One Thread

After reading different questions in this forum, I still want to know if decaffeinated tea has the same benefits as caffeinated green tea. Thanks

Dear Sue I can answer your question since I have studied alot about the health benefits of tea's. For a start what do you mean about caffinated green tea?

Green tea contains only a trace of caffine so it is nearly the same as decaf. Green tea has a tiny bit antioxidant than decaf or ordinary black tea.

That is not to say that decaf or black tea is low on antioxidants these contain plenty of antioxidants.

But green tea would get the thumbs up as far as the best health benefits are concerned.

Ok It was a privelige to help. Bye.
