What is the architectural imagery in Poe?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : The Work of Edgar Allan Poe : One Thread

I am writing a paper on the architectural imagery in Poe's "The Fall of the House of Usher" and "William Wilson". I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas I could put in the paper. Just to help me out.

Try looking at buildings as analogies to the human mind. For example, the concealment of WW's twin in a hidden closet may represent the repression of his conscience/superego.
