Debating on either switch operated or pressure pad laser for my AR15. Any pro's and con's on either. Location for installation owuld be either on barrel or the front post of sight frame. Rifle already has V-TAC 3x9x40. Thanks for inputs.

Pressure pad, all the way.....you need momentary on/off, especially in an urban environment. and, get a reflex, dump the scope.

if it were my AR15 i would get a pressure pad because it can be instantly turned off and on whenever you want it to and with the switch your likely to leave it on more often and drain the battery much more rapidly.
