Atlanta was rockin' this mornig.....

We had fun this morning.

Got to ride a 4.9 earthquake, which woke everybody up. Even Jean!

Ya know you're a Freeper when you post the story on the internet while wife goes and checks the weather channel to see if a tornado went by

I send that thread to FreeRepublic.com and it got national attention before any other news source.

There's links inside the thread to the seismographs and response areas if anybody's interested.

Neat thing was Ronnie printed the whole responses and notices from everybody in the TN, AL, GA, NC, SC, and IN area, took it to her science department buddies, and everybody there used it in their lessons today.

Kinda cool.

Feeling like "shake, rattle and roll"? Not your normal start to a day, I take it. Any Californian transplants prolly slept right through it :-) No damage to you and yours, I trust!

No word from Lon for a week or two, but things were not going smoothly for him lately. Hope all is well there, too.

Boy you really scooped them all Robert. Well done Ace.

I hope Lon is okay Tricia, it sounds like he is having a bad trot. Please give him my regards if you are in touch with him.

Robert, I know you loved being "star reporter" for the day. :-)

That's one of the things I love about forums... first hand accounts.

What's happening with Lon?
