I have the same problem. Where do I find a versa pod? How expensive is it?

I have a versa pod, a harris, and the original SAKO bipod made for the TRG and the SAKO bipod is nice. The bipod sets above the bore line or above the center of gravity and closes high on the gun rather than under. It is hardered steel and is made to last. The catch is you can't find tham and when you can they are asking over $700.00 for them. I paid about $350.00 and got a steel.

The Harris is probably the best bipod. The Versapod has, up until now, been made of pot metal (the main base unit - per "SniperCountry.com" reviews). The pot metal has been known to break undet light usage. I notice that they just brought out an all steel model (for $100); probably due to broken returns. Sako makes the best bipod for the 75. It also fits the TRG 22 and 44 and is very well designed and rugged. Search for Sako accessories on the net.

I have a Sako TRGS in .338 Lapua with a Nightforce scope and love it. Why on earth would you use a Harris bipod? Put a versa pod on it. They fit perfectly and are ten times better then a Harris!!! Get a regular and a long bipod; which allows you to shoot in a sitting postion if ned be because of tall gras etc. Once you use one you would never want a Harris.
