hello, i am new at this burnning thing.i have got the music burning thing down. i would like to know how to do movies and if a vcd is a movie burned to a cd. i hope you don't think i'm being dumb or silly, i just have never ventured to the movie burnning/download thing.you don't so much need to type all instructions or what have ya, may just direct me to where i can go to learn the hows and why's and what of it all. thank you so very much for taking time to read this and helping out. vickie

http://www.vcdhelp.com can answer all your questions, unlike the unhelpful response you received earlier. VCD is a very old movie format for CD, exactly as you said. It predates DVD and was around in the time of laserdiscs, although it has nothing to do with laserdiscs. http://www.doom9.net is a good site for more advanced video topics and the video forum at http://network54.com/Hide/Forum/70438 is another good place to go for help.
