Hello,

I read a thread a while back promising more cars in Brooklyn, including some wagons.

I did notice indeed a few new cars in Prospect Heights, Cobble Hill and Brooklyn Heights, including a few wagons here and there, but in Park Slope, where I live, we just got a Mini.

I am sure the Mini is a great car for people without families, but for those of us who have kids (and we are a lot in Park Slope), a Mini is not very useful. On top of that, at $16 per hour on weekends, it is soooo expensive.

It's getting harder and harder to find cars on the weekends, so how about another one in Park Slope, but something bigger?

Another option: why not switch the Mini with one of the cars in Prospect Heights? Both neighbourhoods would then have 2 normal-sized cars to choose from on weekends (instead of 1 and 3)...

Anyway, something to think about...

There's a Golf on 12th Street. That's more reasonably sized, having used it to tote around 4 people and accompanying baggage. No?

Yes, that Golf is great, but it's getting really difficult to get it since it is the only decent size car in the Park Slope
