Hello TMPENC gives you an option when converting files into MPEG you can convert Video files or audio files which one do i choose

Probably both, although TMPGenc is not very good at converting audio and frequently has problems doing it. You might find the guides at http://www.vcdhelp.com to be helpful in learning what to do. Generally it's better to use TMPGenc only to process video, but you'll need to read some guides to know how to process audio with another program.

There's a plugin for TMPGEnc called tooLame or LameMP3 encoder that you can use to edit audio files within TMPG. It's in the "Tools" section of dvdrhelp.com
