Donations for animals...

I received this in an email and thought it was a worthy cause. I plan to visit several times!!

Animal Rescue Website needs our help!

The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "feed an animal in need" for free.  This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site. Pass it along to people you know....[http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/

I went and clicked, Marcia, but now I'm looking over their stats . . . it doesn't LOOK like they're doing any worse than last year.

AND, I got one of these alerts about another site, similar to this, through Care2.com. I wonder if these "alerts" are legit. Oh well, it's still worthwhile doing . . .

Yeah you're right, Joy. It's probably not very legit...I'm such a sucker for those animal shelter organizations!! Well, I only clicked once :-)!!

Marcia, I think the sites are legit -- I just don't know about these "alerts". Might be a way some well-meaning soul thought up to increase the clicks. You know how all this stuff on the Internet proliferates!
