Did anyone attend Rev. Fisher's homecoming and let's keep his family and church in prayer during this easter season

Was anyone from the board able to attend Rev. Fisher's homecoming? If so could you share with us. Also please continue to lift sis. Jan and the Fisher family up in prayer. I too have been praying for his congregation. This is holy week and I know it will be difficult for the congregation without beloved Rev. Fisher. I pray we will keep his memory alive and thank God for Rev. Fisher's time on this earth. Without Rev. Fisher's model as a servant of God. None of us would be on this board. And many, many friendships and ministries have come from this board. Praise God for Rev. Fisher!

I attended the homegoing of Rev. Fisher last week. It was both sad and joyous at the same time. There was a full contingent of ministers present to do him honor, as well as many friends surrounding his family. The funeral was held in Bethel, Bristol, the church John came up in. The eulogy was given by his presiding elder, The Rev. Joseph Patterson. He was buried in a cemetary there in Bristol, PA.

The loss is a painful one for all who knew him well. I pray his dream demonstrated by this web site and message board grows and flowers to be a real impactful tool in the hands of the Lord.
