I am writing a paper on Poe and how he has influenced modern horror entertainment. I am focusing on his three techniques in "Philosophy of Composition"-action taking place in small, confined areas, tone,dark and melancholy, and circustance of space. hey, I know that classic graphics made a comic book based on poe's poems. go to graphicclassics.com HE influenced Rachmaninoff,this man was into the symphony scene.I tried to figure out what song he actually used with Poes influence and I couldnt find it. So I hope this could be of a help. If I find anything else I'll let you know...
