I don't think, xbox online service is available in india yet. Also that would implcitly require users to have high speed broadband connections.

To Sunny's question about Xbox online. As DOGG rightly pointed out, there is no Xbox live service available in India. However, there are alternatives available which you can use from India. There are Internet based Xbox tunneling software which you can install in your computer and can "fool" Xbox to think that the system at the other end of the system link is another xbox. However, the tunnelling software client in your computer will relay the Xbox packets to Internet and you can play any system-link game with anyone in the world. The most famous Xbox tunnels:

Note that I don't use these tunnels personally but have come across many others who use it. And also, you will still need a computer (as mentioned above), a broadband to get a decent gaming experience, broadband related hardware, a router/hub to connect your Xbox to the broadband connection. And yes, it might take a bit of setting up to make this work, but these sites do tell you how to do them. With all set up, you should be able to get as much fun online as those lucky guys in Europe, US & Japan who do so.

Hello people, Read ur reviews/ answers to the query. I have one of my own!! I need some good/ decent feedback/ reviews/ reports to help me decide which one to buy - XBox or PS2? Based on different criterion which one is better, also taking into consideration the fact about their service centers/ games available/ prices in India!! Also, the very basic question (call me ignoramus!!) - what all basic infr. would I need to have a decent gaming experience with either of the two above?

What all do i need to go to make my US Version Xbox work in india .. i brought my xbox from US .. i bought that small adpater clip which allows me to plug-in the US power Adapter into the indian power socket .. but it doesnt turn on ... moreover would there be any problem of PAL/NTSC ??? ....
