Hello,

I was at the Missouri State Christian Convention this past weekend and came across a booth offering tax help from IHS Ministries. This gentleman has written various books about ministers and tax laws. Anyway, I was bringing it up because someone had written previously about whether they could write off a meal in their home for business purposes. This ministry gives instructions for setting up a pastoral expense account that allows a portion of your salary to go towards things of that sort, making it tax-free. I'd have to find the brochure to give more details as to who to contact, but if you're interested, let me know.

It only took me a month to find the information. What I have is a document from a fellow who began an organization to specifically help ministers with the various tax questions. The document is too long to post and my scanner broke a while back, so I'll put his contact information for you here.
