still looking for response to ordering factory parts

Still trying to figure out how long I will have to wait for some parts I ordered from mv. Have already been waiting a month. Anyone have input on how long it should usually take? thanks.

How about 6 months for SP seat. I am told that I should get my parts very soon. Still holding my breath but is turning a bit blueish- purple :).

Cheers!!!

This scares me, I want to order the RG3 pipes and chip, but I don't want to wait till next year to get them. There must be some direct feedback/contact from the people at MV Special parts as to the lead time for items. Has any one ordered the RG3's recently and if so what was the waiting time. Is it cheaper-quicker to go across to Germany/Holland to get them, or are all MV Owners in the same boat? Geoff

I just waited 2 weeks for the RG3 incl. chip and the SPR-hose (in Germany). Was no problem!

You must keep in mind the factory just restarted motorcycle production in February. Also remember the Italian way of doing things is a little different. Anyone that has ever owned a Ferrari can attest to this. One week translates to I don’t know when it will be here. One month translates to I don’t know when it will be here. See the pattern? If you expect BMW level service you will always be disappointed. That’s why having a second motorcycle is important when owning an MV. I’m sure your parts will be here in one week :)

I am not kidding anyone of you. The dealership I used had parts for me within 3 weeks. Then again, depending on what you need.
