Master's Degree in Middle School Science

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Middle School Science : One Thread

City College is now accepting applications for their Master's (plus certification) in Middle School Science. The program is specifically geared to middle school science teachers who are not science certified and do not necessarily have strong science backgrounds. It is open to uncertified teachers as well as teachers licensed in other areas who want to become science certified.

There is limited funding for the program and, depending on the availability of funds from semester to semester, partial tuition support may be available.

The deadline for Fall admission is May 2nd and requires the submission of official transcripts. You may also take courses this summer (specially arranged to coincide with the NYC school calendar!) as a non-matric, which will carry over after your official admission in the fall.

E-mail me for an application.

Clarification:

I realize the phrase: "specially arranged to coincide with the NYC school calendar!" is ambiguous. I should have said: specially arranged not to conflict with the NYC school calendar - summer courses for this program begin in July.
