I have recently purchase a Samsung N-501 that plays most formats of media, and i have checked the DVD player compatibility website to verify this as well. I burn VCD's using Nero and the seem to work properly on my PC, but when i run it on my DVD player all that pops up is a picture of the movie. The DVD player won't play the movie and there is no sound, yet the DVD player seems to read the movie properly. I've tried burning many VCD's and ran into the same problem, a picture shows up and the movie won't play, its almost as if the controls on the DVD player freeze? I use Imation and memorex CDR's, they do play on my WMP, and i don't have a DVD burner, i use a regular CD burner that is 40x12x40... Any input would be greatly appeciated.

Maybe you're burning to quick and it hits an error, try burning at a lower speed

Or maybe you selected a menu and its stuck with PBC ON... Press the Menu button or Enter button or Select Button.....
