Please explain the process of behavior modifiaction and when it is best to use this.

Answers

When you do what I want you to, I reward you, and you'll be more likely to do it in the future. (In some systems, in addition, when you do what I don't want, I punish you, and you'll be less likely to do that in the future.) It is best to use this when you are a rat or a pigeion, :-) but it has also been known to be somewhat effective with humans, especially ones that are cognitively compromised (e.g., children, mental patients).
