Imagery, figurative language and structure--how they contribute to Poe's theme

I was wondering how the imagery, figurative language (such as the hyperbole in the poem) and structure (shifts in tone also) relate to Poe's theme that love, such that he has, never dies. Could you please post or send me an answer ASAP.
