How was Edgar Allen Poe affected by women in his life? Are there any critics that can back it up?

Poe was affected by women because of his early expierences as a young child with his mother, and her illness,at the age of three and then her death. he also tried to find his mother in other women such as his best-friends mother, his step mother,and his wife all women that he cared alot about and they all seemed to die and hurt him emotionally. So in his writings you find that Poe himself became really crazy with writing about beautiful dieing woman. Hope I helped
