I just got a new student, well she is a transfer student..and she has learned from the Alfred's Little Beethoven Series. I do not know much about this series nor have I ever taught from it. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.

I think you are referring to Music for Little Mozarts. Has she completed the four-book series? I believe it is suggested that from there, the student enters Alfred's Basic Prep Course. I don't really care for either of those methods.

How old is the student? If she is ready, I would just put her in the primer of the method you prefer. If it is too easy, she will just advance through it quickly. That way, you can make certain she knows the concepts you want her to know.
