I just purchased an SX-70 and I need to test it to see if it works......if it doesn't....I get a refund. The problem is that the light shield is a little bent and I'm concerned that it may cause the film to fog. If I put in a pack of film and it does fog or the camera simply doesn't work, can I remove the partial film pack and put it into another SX-70? Thankyou so much for a response as I only have 2 days to return this camera.

yes, sx-70 film can be removed from the camera if it is only partically used. lj
