Does anyone have infomation on history of Sou Rwy caboose which it's # in 1957 was x3268. was it modified to a 4 window cab & to what #

HI James; SR caboose #3268 was built between 1948 & 1951 as a 4 window steel caboose. As far as it's disposition, I'm not sure, but in the 'Southern Railway Handbook' by Wiley and Wallace there's a good picture of x3270, sister to the 3268.
