This weekend, I core aerated and put down some fertilizer. From Bowman's in Westminster, I got two bags of Scotts Turf Builder with Halts Crabgrass Preventer at $36 each and two other bags of Scotts Turf Builder (not exactly sure) at $22 each. Spent $120 total.

Scotts® Turf Builder with Halts® Crabgrass Preventer contains an exclusive formula which offers a highly effective crabgrass, oxalis, foxtail, and spurge preventer. Scotts All-In-One particles blanket the lawn to deliver an invisible barrier at the soil surface that prevents crabgrass from germinating. It should be applied in late winter or early spring, before temperatures are regularly in the 80s. Available sizes: 5,000-, 12,000- and 15,000-sq. ft. coverage. For extra greening power Super Turf Builder with Halts® is also available at authorized Lawn Pro® retailers.

Scotts® Turf Builder with Plus 2® Weed Control kills broadleaf weeds, such as dandelions, that ordinary weed and feeds miss. After application, the weeds gradually fade away, root and all, as the fertilized lawn grows thicker and greener. Apply any time weeds are actively growing. If the lawn has been recently seeded, delay application until the new grass has been mowed four times. Available sizes: 5,000-, 12,000-, and 15,000-sq.-ft. coverage. For extra greening power, Super Turf Builder with Plus 2® Weed Control is also available at authorized Lawn Pro® retailers.
