you don't want kazaa... you want eDonkey... trust me. I used kazaa for half a year, than I tried out eDonkey a month and a half ago and haven't had to use kazaa since... goto www.edonkey2000.com

This might work: First, teel her to make sure she is logged on as administrator, if not logged on as a main user a program may not fully install. Try installing it again. If she can't, then click my computer, control panel, add/remove programs, and try to uninstall it and install it again. You might also want to try downloading the program from a different site.

To Kenji ikari... Hi! Erm... u seem to know more about the computer so... I told her the method u suggest. But she is already an administrator for her computer. Yea... but there are 5 other users in her computer though. Maybe that might be the cause? Thanks in advance. ^_^

Well, if those didn't work. Heres quotes from the official site. These may be the problem:

I can't install or start Kazaa Media Desktop, what should I do? This can happen for many reasons. Please go through the following process to try and clear up the problem:

1. Make sure there's enough disk space. Kazaa Media Desktop requires at least 20MB to install.

2. Uninstall all existing copies of Kazaa Media Desktop from your computer.

3. Clear the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Kazaa keys from the Windows registry. To do this: click Start > Run, Type in Regedit, and press Enter; Then browse for the Kazaa keys and delete them.

4. Download the latest version of Kazaa Media Desktop and try installing again

After installing Kazaa Media Desktop, I am getting the error message 'You have uninstalled a part of Kazaa Media Desktop that is needed to run'. Why?

You will receive this error message if the operating system your using is using NTFS partitioning and you don't have local administration access on that computer.

Why am I getting the error message 'Unable to open C:\Program Files\Kazaa\Db\data1024.dbb' when I start Kazaa Media Desktop?

This is because you do not have local administration access to the computer you have installed Kazaa Media Desktop on. On some computer only logins with administrator rights can access certain files.

Other than that I don't know what the problem may be. -Kenji
