Second Class Cancelled Ticket from the Titanic is in excellent condition

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TitanicShack : One Thread

My girlfriend has a cancelled ticket that her grandmother gave her. Her grandmother was going to board the Titanic, but because there was so much confusion and people everywhere, she decided to have the ticket cancelled and went home. The ticket, I believe, is a 2nd class ticket. I would like to know what this ticket is worth. It is framed and has been in a frame for years.

i dont mean to be rude at all. but can you prove the authenticity of the tickets. the problem is that there is only one know holder of tickets that were unstamped and not ripped. all other tickets were torn in half and stamped. the elderly lady lives in South Wales, UK, and holds 4 first classed tickets which are complete in tact due to her family missing the liner due to a car crash. She is the only know person in the world to hold tickets that are in perfect condition. i think you may have to check the authenticity of your tickets......
