Had a very interesting assymetrical face. If you cover over the weak side he looks like a version of John Wikes Booth. Cover the good looking side and looks like a weak dazed and sick individual. Some of his best photos unfortunately were snapped at the end of his turbulent life wneh he was in very bad emotional shape. Paintings give a different view. He had a brown suit and brown hair, unlike the "raven" black we easily assume. Mrs. Clemm gives a description of a not too tall thin and delicate physique(bad diet).
