VCD not works at my computer .. How can i play it?

I havw windows XP , Media Player 9 , Teac-540 CD-ROM Driver

I brought some VCD , but when i open the cd at my computer.. i see 5 folders, each foldr contain files.. AND NO MPEG or AVI FILES! i tried to open the big file , something.dat (about 690 MB) but medai palyer gave me a msg "There was an error reading from the CD-ROM."..

How can I play VCD at my computer?

Go to the MPEGAV directory and open the *.DAT file. It should play, but you may need to associate the .DAT extension with Windows Media Player. If you install a software DVD player, it will also be able to play VCD.
